MIVA MERCHANT PAGES NOW HAVE A VISIBLE PAGERANK AS SEEN ON GOOGLE'S TOOLBAR

Miva Merchant store screens have been snubbed by Google in regards to pagerank for quite some time.  From stores we checked periodically, all Miva Merchant store screens around the world had the following pagerank regardless of how many links pointed to them or how high the corresponding static pages of the site ranked.

Recently, we noticed that Miva Merchant store screens were being assigned a pagerank on Google's toolbar.

The above screenshot of our personal Google toolbar shows one of our client's storefront screens with a pagerank of 6.  Other stores rank lower, while some still do not have any visible pagerank due to poor or ineffective search engine optimization techniques.  We have not found any stores with a higher pagerank than 6.  If you see one, please let us know.

Miva Merchant screens having a visible pagerank is quite significant.  Many alleged search engine optimization experts make ignorant claims about how Miva Merchant screens cannot get decent or search engine placement comparable to static pages.  We have already had client's Miva Merchant screens achieve number one rankings and even rank higher than static pages that are exact duplicates.  With the appropriate pagerank, Miva Merchant stores can do conceivably even better in Google.  Look forward to a future article on static versus dynamic Miva Merchant pages.
