Mv Messenger is a small, 287kb application that installs a small light bulb on your toolbar. When a new message is posted, a small popup will appear with the title of the message as shown below.
You can even check for messages yourself and review old messages as well.
As you can see, it is not very intrusive. Nor does it contain spyware. I am receiving an error or security warning (when installing mvmessenger)
After you download MvMessenger, you may receive a warning message when running/installing it. These warnings are caused by virus protection or firewall software. MvMessenger is NOT a virus or a spyware and in no way is dangerous to your computer.
Recommendations: Rest assure, this software is virus and spyware free. Although some programs will warn you of our reader file (.exe), it is clean. In Anti-spyware software, if you get a pop up message, you may bypass the warnings by clicking the ?Allow? button or ?Run? button. Depending on what security program you use, you may receive different errors. When you install MvMessenger for the first time, you will only need to click on "Run" once and should never see this warning message again.
Why don't the messages appear in Microsoft XP Service Pack 2?
If you are using Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 may not see the MvMessenger messages.
Resolution: Go into the Control Panel, Add-Remove Programs, and then to the bottom left "Set Program Access and Defaults" button. Click the arrow to the right of the word "Custom". Chose the default Web Browser program to be Internet Explorer. Then Click Ok.
MvMessenger messages are still not showing!
When going to view a message, hold down either your ctrl key or a combination of your ctrl and shift keys. Your pop-up blocker maybe blocking them. You can also try adding jmhonline.net to your browser's safe sender list.
Why am I receiving active-x warnings about messages?
Some messages may contain flash video and/or audio. There will never be anything that can harm or compromise your computer. Click on the option to allow active-x content.
