This Sales Report and Best Seller analyser ranks your products (displaying as many as you wish ) in terms of both Number Sold and Revenue.

5. Search Engine Tracker Copernicus / Miva Central

The Search Engine Tracker is a logging module that helps the storeowner understand and quantify a Search Engine marketing campaign or the current status of search engine positioning. Graphs and “sortable” reports make it easy for you to analyze the data being collected about your search engine campaigns. This module separately tracks click-throughs and buy-throughs so you can determine which search engines and paid listing sources are worth the investment.

Tracks “click-throughs” from all search engines you specify so that you can evaluate which search engines send you the most “click-throughs”
- Records search terms that were used to find the store

- Please note: there is no pass-through API for pay-source tracking. Your URLs provided to the pay-source are required to go directly into your Miva Merchant store
Generate Reports for analysis:
- Monthly click-through and buy-through graph! At a glance you can see the total number of click-throughs or buy-throughs of each day in the month.
- Keyword Summary Report: this report lists the top keywords/phrases and tallies the number of click-throughs and buy-throughs associated with each keyword/phrase. You can sort this data by keyword/phrase.
- Engine/Referral Summary Report: this report lists the top referral search engines and tallies the number of click-throughs and buy-throughs coming from each of the top search engines.
- Raw Log display: You can view all of the data collected over time and also view the most recent click-throughs and buy-throughs.

*Note: Search engine click-throughs that do not go directly into your Merchant store (i.e. they first go through a non-Merchant page such as index.html) will not be tracked in these statistics as a click-through from a specific search engine unless you use the Pass-Through API. You can set up the JavaScript Pass Through API in your static HTML pages so the Search Engine Tracker will recognize and track all click-throughs, even if the customer first lands on a static HTML page when entering your site.

Example Usage
A storefront that sells cakes and jelly beans online has come to the conclusion that investing in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a wise investment of his marketing dollars. The storefront owner has decided to invest in increasing his rankings with the search engines by optimizing his site and has even decided he wants to pay for “paid source listings.” However, before he invests in SEO, he wants to make sure that he can track his investment. He wants to know how many Click-throughs and Buy-throughs he is getting from each search engine and he wants to know what key words are drawing in the highest amount of hits. And, since he’s decided to pay for clicks, he definitely wants to be able to track which of the sources are performing the best. Without this date, he’ll never know which of his SEO efforts are the most profitable for him and can’t analyze which ones to keep and which ones to drop.

The Solution: The storefront owner’s need for data to analyze his SEO investment is quickly solved with the Search Engine Tracker. This plug-in module to Miva Merchant allows the storefront owner to track Click-throughs and Buy-throughs in total, by search engine, by (storefront owner-defined) keyword and even allows him to track paid Click-throughs and Buy-throughs. This ability to redirect your traffic without breaking the functionality of the browser’s back button is critical because the top pay-per-click services such as Overture will not allow you to use links that break the back button.

Special support for tracking traffic to static HTML Pages
QwkTracker has special code that supports tracking from static html pages using separate redirection software such as QwkRed. The combination can be used to allow you to track where traffic came from that came to your site via your own static html pages. And even work to track the traffic path if the static pages are hosted on a completely different domain or web server.

Reporting
All of the data generated by the system is easily viewed in reports that you can configure based on the start and end date/time, sources, and keywords, and the reports can be displayed as html tables or in various delimited text formats for fast and easy use in third party spreadsheet or database software. Reports come in two types, summary reports that have the numbers crunched for you and are easy to read and great for seeing trends, and raw reports that have more granular detail. The same filtering by start and end date/time, sources, and keywords can be used for deleting old, irrelevant, or unwanted data quickly and easily.

7. OpenStatistics^TM OpenUI Developer Consortium / Miva Central

The OpenStatistics™ License Key, when installed will enable to be able to see the total stats for the orders in one batch, all unbatched orders, or all orders regardless of classification. The stats page gives a total sales summary,and then breaks the total sales down by day-of-the-week and time of day (by the hour) the orders were made. The stats page also lists the top selling products and top revenue generators for the specified parameters. The stats are based on the filtering options you currently have set, allowing you to specify exactly what information you would like to generate. For example, if you are in the customer screen on the OpenOrders™ tab and click on the stats button, you will see the stats of that customer's order only. If you have filtered the orders based on the order total and the date range, then the stats will be based on this filter. The stats button gives you immense flexibility because it allows you to view stats using a single filter or any combination of filters. For example, you can see the top 20 products from those that purchased SOMEPRODUCT, or those that have spent over a designated amount....or use both filters. All these resources are available simply by clicking the stats button, which appears on both the OpenOrders™ and OpenBatches™ screens.

This additional license key is solely for the new stats features and will have NO impact on existing or future Open UI installation. All stores will continue to function with the same capabilities as before.

8. Webmaster Quickstats Wump Services / Miva Central

[This is a script. Not a Module. FTP required to upload it to your server]

If you are anything like me you really like to know what is going on in your store. A step in the right direction is the STATS information new for Merchant 4.

Quickstats is a STANDALONE APPLICATION that takes this information and makes it easily available to you at the click of a button. It will display this statistic information AND the date and time of the last order for each store on your domain. You can also install multiple copies to show one store only if you have multiple store owners on your domain.

This allows you to either get this information by creating a favorite in your browser, a desktop shortcut or even making it your Browser Homepage.

Note that this script is NOT password protected. Security recommendations are made in an included document to show you how you can keep things secure, but still have that 1-click access to the information. The information displayed has been chosen to only include non-security critical fields to give maximum information but give absolutely no risk of sharing customer sensitive data.

The NetPush HitsLink module will dynamically record page hits in your stats account at HitsLink. This module will simulate the page in Miva that your customer is on. For example, in your HitsLink stats, you would see Miva_srch or Miva_ctgy_Flowers instead of merchant.mvc or a long query string. This makes your statistics easier to read. Invoices are also recorded at checkout and can help you track the success of advertising campaigns like Pay Per Click.
