1. Mini-Basket Display Weiland / Miva CentralDisplay a brief summary of items currently in each customer's basket as they shop within a Miva Merchant store, provide a storefront display of the shipping charges, and list their recently visited product pages in your store with quick link and add button. Features: (some features are only in the compiled version - see details below) The Mini-basket "view" is configured in the admin interface. The title of the Mini-basket, column headings, font size and color are configurable. You also have the option of a checkout link appearing in the Mini-basket when a specific order subtotal has been reached, thus allowing for minimum orders if you have disabled the checkout button in the standard Merchant nav bar. You can also allow customers to preview shipping options and costs with a single click if they enter ship to location info. Customers do not need to be logged in to view the shipping options. The Mini-basket title, checkout button, and shipping option link can be displayed with either text or image. The basket title is linked to the full basket contents display and the checkout is linked to the checkout screens. The shipping option link runs the installed shipping modules to display the available methods.
License is for ONE mall. Within that single mall, the module can be used in multiple stores without additional license. It functions within both the Miva Merchant (mmui.mv) and OpenUI (oui.mv) look and feel modules, appearing at either the top or bottom of the category column. If using the mmui.mv, you will add one line to the mmui.mv file. Note that if your Merchant version is 4.14 or newer, you'll need to edit and recompile the mmui.mv to mmui.mvc (compiler license from Miva Corp required). Hence, OpenUI is highly recommended if you are using Merchant 4.14 or newer. If using the OpenUI, the hook is automatically set when you install the module. There are several hook point screen locations available, of which one can be selected in the module's admin screen. Price: $35 Upgrade Cost: $20

Tiny Cart and History Helper Viking Coders / Miva CentralTinyCart and History Helper allows you to create a template-based mini-basket, running subtotal, and/or recently viewed items display. The templates can be be shown above or below the category tree header or footer or above the tree sign-in link, as well as embedded within our Category/Product Page Template modules. The TinyCart and History Helper are configurable independent of one another. Rather than being stuck with a default layout, the display of either can be entirely customized using a wide range of tokens such as thumbnail, product code, name, price, subtotal, basket/checkout URLs, etc. For advanced users, additional variable tokens are included which allow access to all global, system, and database variables available in Merchant. The recently viewed items can also be embedded as a token within the basket viewer itself. To illustrate the display control offered, the default template for the recently viewed items displays as a drop-n-go drop down list. The drop down list is nice as it takes up a small amount of screen real estate, but you can change the template to something similar to the mini-cart. Or, use your imagination and come up with an entirely new template. Both viewers optionally allow alternate text/html to be used if there are no basket/recent items to show. Additional settings for recently viewed items include the maximum number of items to display (1-99) and the number of minutes before recently viewed items expire (1-9999). You can also give your customers the ability to lookup shipping rates based on their current basket! *NEW You can now embed the tiny cart within static pages outside of Miva Merchant by using IFRAME like so: Add this product to your basket and then reload this page to see an example. Floating Basket Contents SEVENTWOTHREE Electric / Miva CentralThis module places the shopping basket quantity and order amount totals in a layer in the browser window. Details: You can specify the horizontal and vertical placement of the basket contents layer, the size of the contents area, background colors or images, text colors, fonts, and sizes, and even the text to display in the basket contents window. This basket contents layer will persist throughout the store, and will allow the customer to know at all times exactly how many items are in the basket and the order total. Indications: This module has been designed to only show the quantity and price totals, and not basket line item detail, so that it will load quickly and provide and easy reference while remaining unobtrusive to the general design of the store. I have chosen to place the contents in a layer because this will likely allow many users to implement a persistent basket contents display within an existing store without requiring any redesign. Screen-by-Screen Display Options: You can decide which screens will display the basket contents, including any custom screen codes you may have. Usage Recommendations: This module will work best for stores with a consistently placed top or left navigation. Since the basket contents layer's position is fixed relative to the upper left corner of the browser window, it may not work well if it is placed over an area of the page with dynamic content. For example, if you place the basket contents in the center of the page, it will float above whatever appears in the center of each page. It is best used where the content is predictably consistent. Since browser content is typically most consistent at the top and left sides, the basket contents will likely work best the closer it is to the top and/or left sides of the page. Running Subtotal Display Viking Coders /Running Subtotal Display can show customers a running subtotal of their current basket, including the total number of items added. "Tokens" for the subtotal and number of items give you precise control over the appearance, and the admin interface features extensive additional display options. The running subtotal may be displayed above/below the global header, below the top navigation bar, above/below the category tree header, above/below the category tree footer, and/or above/below the global footer. The subtotal can also be set to not display until items have been added to the basket Additionally, you can specify exactly which screens to display the subtotal on, or have it displayed on all screens. Perpetual Basket Contents Display Weiland / Emporium PlusThe baskstat module displays the number of items in the shopper's basket and the subtotal cost. It automatically updates each time an item is added to or removed from the basket. You can place the display anywhere on your merchant pages. You can customize the font size and color and background from your store admin interface. If using the OpenUI, you can select from seven positions on the screen layout to place the basket display. If using the MMUI, you can do the same by editing the mmui.mv. If you are using the OpenUI or page templates which support tokens, you can place the perpetual basket contents token at locations where tokens are accepted, eg headers, footers, product and category page templates. In the compiled version of Merchant we have included
footsteps of customers' recent travels to the product pages in the store. The display remains closed unless the customer clicks the link for the recent visits, thus not taking too much space. When displayed, an Add to basket button can be included so the customer can easily add products which they had visited earlier and now they want
to add them without having to search or drill down though the categories. This reminder of pages visited lessens the chance of forgetting something before the customer checks out. The convenient links allows the customer to quickly go back and take a look at the products again. The
recent visit history will remain available for the length the store owner has set for basket timeout. Additionally, for your customers who login, you can have the history availability
extended for any number of additional hours, as they are more likely to return and make a purchase. The recent visit history can be included within the mini-basket table or outside of it. If you want to place the visit history outside of the mini-basket, you can use tokens in the header and footers of screens if you are using the OpenUI. We
have included a "view" feature in admin that allows the store owner to monitor live activity in the store. All recent product page visits are listed the admin screen. Customers not using cookies or whose browser is creating a different session ID with each page click will not be able to display their recent history, however the store owner will still be able to see the pages currently being visited.
