MSIE 6 recommended for the Administration interface of truXoft modules
If your PayPal account is either a "Business" or "Premier" PayPal account, this module guides the customer to the PayPal payment screens so that they do not get to the invoice screen without properly entering pay data. When the customer clicks the Pay button at the PayPal site, you can have the PayPal Instant Payment Notification (IPN) send a silent update back to your payment history file which can be viewed in your Merchant admin:order edit screen. Unlike some other modules, if the customer does not return to Merchant, his order will still be processed and email notifications sent. When returning to your store, the invoice page will be displayed. You can also add additional instructions to inform customers what to expect at the PayPal site through the admin interface. If you are using Addendum in your store, you will need to use Addendum version 3.08 or newer when using the PayPal module. If your PayPal account is a "Personal" account, the flow for payment is a bit different. Contact me if your PayPal account is a "personal" PayPal account and I will give you the details.
Although the PayPal system is not like real time credit card processing and authorization systems, it is more like using the simple credit card validation. PayPal does the authorization using it's web accept and sends you a confirmation email. You match the Merchant notification emails with the PayPal confirmation emails. For added security, it is advisable to check the status on the PayPal web site (linked within Merchant admin). Once confirmations are verified that the money has transferred to your account, you can ship the products.
The Merchant version 2.x, 3.x and 4.x PayPal payment module can be used with both the MMUI and OpenUI look and feel. A single edit is needed if you are using the MMUI AND your PayPal account is a "Personal" account. If you have a "Business" or "Premier" PayPal account, the MMUI edit is NOT needed. An optional code edit can be also made to include the payment method in the merchant notification email. You may find it advantageous to use our Show Payment Type module instead which lists all payment methods in the email, not just PayPal. No code edits are needed if you are using the OpenUI for either the PayPal or Show Payment Type modules.
New in the compiled version is a report module. You can list orders by any time frame and specify only orders with a specific product code in them. You can also sort it by state or country according to their paypal.com account registration
This module is particularly useful for the small sized Mom and Pop store which does not want the added expense of setting up Merchant credit card accounts and having to meet minimum sales quotas. This store is a prime example, as I do not take credit cards directly. Rather you can pay for software at this store using PayPal, by signing up and debiting your credit card at PayPal. Try it out, I think you'll like it.
Additionally, it is a nice option for the big guys in that it makes online fulfillment possible for those customers who don't have credit cards but have built up an online balance through their own sales, e.g. through eBay. PayPal is the predominant method of payment at eBay. There are over 16,000,000 million PayPal accounts. Do not overlook these as potential customers at your store. Over 30,000 websites accept PayPal and are listed in the PayPal Shops at paypal.com. Can you afford not to be in that list? PayPal accounts are available to customers in the United States and many other countries around the world.
PayPal is currently giving you $5 to sign up and complete the bonus requirements. So do the math. Signup, order this $20 module and let PayPal pay $5 of the cost. How long this will last is anybody's guess, so don't wait too long.
If you are not familiar with how PayPal works, check it out. If you like it, sign up, then add this payment option to your store.
Do you wish you could insert links in your product descriptions to popup windows showing images with more detail, easily?
This application is a simple solution to a lot of complicated HTML and Javascript coding... just paste a link into the product description, that's it.
Pop Up Windows usually involves writing Javascript - working out how to have the script function output in the Miva Merchant product page, then determining popup window sizes - AND you have to do this for each image you want to display!
This Miva Script application does it all, you just use the same simple link & specify the name of the image to display, the application then auto sizes the popup window to the size of the image, no need for any Javascript.
The popup window even uses frames in order to include a nice neutral colored "Close Window" button at the top of the window. ( you can customize )
In addition you can specify the popup window background, so it will match the color scheme of your store.
Don't be limited to just a thumbnail and one image for your products.
You also get access to a PopUp Link Generator page, if you wish to make easy "copy and paste" links.
Runs on any 3.9x Mivascript enabled site, and now on v4.14+ compiled stores - upload via FTP.
One application file does it all - All functions built in
Popup Window Auto Sizes to the image displayed
Specify image + window background color + Link text - that's it!
Where are the hits occurring in your store? Are customers starting but not finishing the checkout process? How many payment authorization failures occurred in your store today? What were the causes of those failures?

Indications: This module is ideal for those who would like to add supplemental scripts to the HTML header, supplemental attributes or JavaScript event handlers to the BODY tag, or any combination of these, and who want control these additions on a screen-by-screen basis. For example, if you want to use JavaScript to create a pop-up survey window which only appears at the Order Shipping and Payment Selection screen (OPAY), you can insert your own code through this module, and have control over HEAD and BODY additions for any (and only) the screens you want to affect.
Contraindications: This module is additive only, in that it will not allow you to delete any of the attributes of the BODY tag or HTML header code which are generated by Miva Merchant or other installed modules. If you have other modules installed which already generate, for example, an onLoad JavaScript event handler, or for another example, a VLINK color attribute, this module will not allow you to delete or override those parts of the code generated by Miva Merchant. As with any web-based application, the end-user (or Merchant store customer) must browse your store with the appropriate software to take full advantage of some of the features made possible by this module. I can make no guarantees that code you insert will actually have the effect you desire (that's up to you), but I can guarantee that code you insert with this module enabled in your store will be added to pages generated by Miva Merchant.
Display alternate images for your products! Image Wizard lets you add additional clickable thumbnail images to product pages.
Perfect for display of information for specialty items, such as furniture, toys, electronics, and other items where more than one view is necessary.
Thumbnails are displayed on the product page along with one larger image. Customers click on each thumbnail to get a larger view.
Fully customized admin interface allows you to: display up to five product images in thumbnail and large scale view, display images above, below or to the right of the main product image, choose which product fields to display and whether to display them to the right or below the images, control the Size of the Thumbnail Images and the Main Image, display larger views on the same page or in a pop-up window (requires Java).
This module also includes Admin control for William Weilands Inventory Management and our EZaltdesc that displays a short description on the Category Screen.
This module provides your Affiliate Manager affiliates with an interface in your store where they can view and modify their personal data (permitting them to modify their settings is optional), view the orders and hits which have been credited to them, view the payouts which are pending and the payouts which have already been made.
The module uses the "templates and tokens" approach to displaying the information familiar to users of my other template modules. This approach provides for full control over the display of the various pages by simply modifying the HTML used to display that page; placing tokens to represent the data wherever you see fit. Two templates can be separately configured and you can select which of the two to use for your display. By default, one of these templates displays almost all of the affiliate's personal data and permits them to edit and update the information. The other template displays the same data but does NOT permit the affiliate to modify the data.
The display consists of a main page to which the affiliate first arrives with links on this page to pop-up windows for each of the other data pages. Images can of course be configured for each of the links and buttons on the various pages.
Note: This module requires that the Affiliate Manager be installed (and isn't of any use without it).
Note: This module requires ver. 3.9x or higher of the Miva Engine.

Feature Details. You can add coupons through the standard Miva Merchant admin interface and include usage criteria.
An unlimited number of coupons can be assigned to the store and eachidentified with a coupon code. Once you have added the module to the store, you can add coupons in the Order Fulfillment section of the admininterface. When you select the Add icon, you will have several input fields to fill in. You must enter a unique code for your coupon. Thisis the code that you will give to customers so they can shop and redeemthe coupon. It can be any combination of letters and/or numbers.
You canembed a token in your welcome email or notification emails generated with our Mail Manager (Emporium Plus - Weiland) module. A unique coupon code will be created and is based on the coupon template you designate. You can have an unlimited number of templates and an unlimited number of coupons copied from them. If you are not using our Mail Manager, you can still activate the generator by placing the token in the invoice header. If you are using our Tell A Friend (Emporium Plus - Weiland) module, you can embed the unique coupon code in the emails that customers send when referring their friends to your store. The coupon generation is also useful when it is embedded into the follow on contact emails that our Follow On Contact (Emporium Plus - Weiland) module sends out.
If you have a lot of coupons you want to load into the system quickly, there is a coupon import from flat file module
An optional expiration date can be included which will prevent its useif the date has passed. Enter it in the year, month, day format, eg. 20000724 would be July 24, 2000. If you leave this field blank the coupon will never expire. However, you can still delete it manually through the admin interface.
A fixed value OR percentage discount off the order total is assigned to each coupon. The default is fixed value/price, e.g. $5.00 off the order total. If you put the % sign in the next input field AFTER the value field, it will calculate the coupon value based on the assigned percent of the order total. The %, if used, is entered in the separate field to the right for that purpose. If left blank, the calculation will be based on the fixed value of the coupon. See the note below about restricting discount calculations to specific products instead of the order total. A maximum redemptionvalue can be assigned to each coupon.
Free shipping coupon option. If you enter the letter S in the field to the right of the value field, the coupon will be used to allow free shipping for the entire order. Other criteria for the coupon must be met, e.g. minimum order amount, eligible products, etc.
Optionally, a coupon can be allowed only when an order total reaches a specific amount. For example, you can give a 10% discount when the order total reaches $200 as an incentive or promo. In all cases where a raw value is used, you must make this value equal to or greater than the value of the coupon. If you usethe percent calculation, this value can be any value, including zero.
Based on your state's tax requirements, the coupon can be designated toreduce the sales tax or not reduce it. The coupon's tax effect is onthe order total, not on individual products. For example, in some states, a store coupon reduces the cumulative value of products purchased before the sales tax is applied, hence you would want it to reduce tax. The exception to doingthis is if your products are likely to be non-taxable, making a coupon reduce tax could result in a negative tax calculation. Another type coupon might be the manufacturer coupon. In some states, manufacturer coupons do not decrease the tax liability. You should determine your state's tax requirements before adding coupons to your store.
Coupons can either be used:
multiple times - The coupon can be used at every visit by any customer who shops at your store. This is usually used as a promo to customers, user lists, clubs, etc. They often have a short expiration date to limittheir use. A typical usage might be a special holiday sale, eg 10% offeverything in the store if used by a specified date. This would eliminatethe need for special price groups if the intent is that everybody who hasthe coupon code can use it. In the compiled version you can limit the number of times a multiple coupon is redeemed.
only one time for each customer - The coupon can only be used for one visit per customer. When the same customer shops at your store a secondtime, if he/she uses the same coupon code, it will be rejected. This isprobably the most common coupon and is usually used in print ads or as a promo, eg. "$5.00 off on your next visit".
only one time for a unique coupon code - The coupon can only be used once. Once any customer has used this code, it becomes unavailable for any other purchase. This is often used as a customer relations tool, e.g. "sorry for the inconvenience, please accept this coupon.....".
Global or product related. You can restrict usage of a coupon in your store so that it can be used only if a specific product is ordered. You can list several product codes, any of which in the basket would make the coupon valid if the other requirements are met. Leaving the product code blank means that customers do not have to order a specific product as long as they meet the other requirements the store owner has specified. If you check the box to the left of the product code list, and are using the percentage discount, only those products in the code list will be used in the calculation using the qualifying products subtotal. If you do not check the box, the percentage discount will be applied against the order total. Youcan use a wildcard for the product list, e.g. 1AA* would make all productsbeginning with 1AA eligible for the coupon discount.
Use instant coupons on the individual product pages and for specific products. These coupons are redeemed at the product page and instantly appear in the basket as a line item discount related to a specific product. Unlike the global checkout coupons, customers can redeem multiple instant coupons in a single order. From a marketing standpoint this gives the merchant the opportunity to offer a promo code atthe product level which gives an impending event (expiration of the promo)to encourage sales while not lowering the value of the product with an overtprice discount.
You can restrict the coupon usage down to the attribute level. For example, you can limit the coupon to product codes beginning with 1AA and the attribute "Version" with the specific option value of "4.5". The format for the input would be 1AA*~Version~4.5|
If you precede the product list with a - (minus) character, the coupon will be excluded from use with those products.
You can limit the coupon to be used only if the customer is in a specific zone. You can use ONE of six possible zone limitations for each coupon (ship to: country, state or zip; bill to: country, state or zip).
Appropriate error messages are displayed when coupons don't meet theusage criteria established by the store owner. When the shopper entersa coupon code that is not valid based on the criteria you establish, he/she will see an error message just below the coupon codeinput when the page is re-displayed.
In admin, the coupons can be easily displayed and edited. The couponsare displayed in a table format with configurable number of coupons per page displayed. The entire coupon database is searchable by coupon code or beginning portion of the coupon code.
Expired coupons can be removed from the database (to cut down on disk usage) one at a time or in mass. In admin, you can either put a checkin the remove column and select update or select purge expired coupons, then select update.
A historical database, which can be imported and analyzed in database orspreadsheet software, is maintained on all coupons used. The couponuz.dbfcan be FTPd to your PC for further analysis in MS Access, MS Excel, or other data management software. This could be useful in determining which coupons bring you the most activity. The number of uses for each coupon is also displayed in the admin table.
The coupon usage report module can provide historical data within your admin. You can summarize or list each coupon used for a specific time period. You can also restrict the output to a specific coupon code or a string of characters in a coupon code. This latter is useful when you have assigneda series of coupons to an affiliate or advertising campaign. You can determine how much business was brought in with the coupons from various sources.
The module currently fully supports the mivasql configuration of MIVA Merchant 5. It also supports MySQL as long as load balancing has the data stored on the single MySQL server. This would be the case in most of the server setups. For those that are not, we are in the process of converting the code for that remaining, very small group of MIVA Merchant stores. At this time we have not had a problem. Modules will be moved to the top of the queue as needed.
Manage coupon addition and redemption functions within a Miva Merchant 2.2x, 3.x or 4.x storefront with this plugin module. License is for ONE mall. Within that single mall, it can be
used in multiple stores without additional license.

eg $5.00 off the order total. A maximum redemption value can be assigned to each coupon in Merchant 4.x.
If you enter the letter S in the field to the right, the
coupon will be used to allow free shipping (compiled version only) for the entire order.
If you use the percent calculation, this value can be any value, including zero.
Based on your state's tax requirements, the coupon can be designated to reduce the sales tax or not reduce it. The coupon's tax effect is on the order total, not on individual products. For example, in some states, a store coupon reduces the cumulative value of products purchased before the sales tax is applied, hence you would want it to reduce tax. The exception to doing this is if your products are likely to be non-taxable, making a coupon reduce tax could result in a negative tax calculation.
They often have a short expiration date to limit their use. A typical usage might be a special holiday sale, eg 10% off everything in the store if used by a specified date. This would eliminate the need for special price groups if the intent is that everybody who has the coupon code can use it.
only one time for each customer - The coupon can only be used for one visit per customer. When the same customer shops at your store a second time, if he/she uses the same coupon code, it will be rejected. This is probably the most common coupon and is usually used in print ads or as a promo, eg. "$5.00 off on your next visit".
only one time for a unique coupon code - The coupon can only be used once. Once any customer has used this code, it becomes unavailable for any other purchase. This is often used as a customer relations tool, eg "sorry for the inconvenience, please accept this coupon.....".
You can restrict usage of a coupon in your store so that it can be used only if a specific product code is ordered. You can list several product codes, any of which in the basket would make the coupon valid if the other requirements are met. Leaving the product code blank means that customers do not have to order a specific product as long as they meet the other requirements the store owner has specified. If you check the box to the left of the product code list AND are using the percentage discount, only those products in the code list will be used in the calculation using the qualifying products subtotal. If you do not check the box, the percentage discount will be applied against the order total. In Merchant 4.0, you can use a wildcard for the product list, e.g. 1AA* would make all products beginning with 1AA eligible for the coupon discount.
New in the compiled version of the coupon module is the ability to restrict the coupon usage down to the attribute level. For example, you can limit the coupon to product codes beginning with 1AA and the attribute "Version" with the option of "4.5". The
format for the input would be 1AA*~Version~4.5|
Alternatively, if you precede the product list with a - (minus) character, the coupon will be excluded from use with those product codes. You canNOT specify it to the attribute level like the include above. (compiled version only)
Appropriate error messages are displayed when coupons don't meet the usage criteria established by the store owner. When the shopper enters a coupon code at checkout that is not valid based on the criteria you establish, he/she will see an error message just below the coupon code input when the checkout form is re-displayed. One coupon can be redeemed per order on the checkout page.
In admin, the coupons can be easily displayed and edited. The coupons are displayed in a table format with configurable number of coupons per page displayed. The entire coupon database is searchable by coupon code or portion of the coupon code.
Expired coupons can be removed from the database (to cut down on disk usage) one at a time or in mass. In admin, you can either put a check in the remove column and select update or select purge expired coupons, then select update.
A historical database, which can be imported and analyzed in database or spreadsheet software, is maintained on all coupons used. The couponuz.dbf can be FTPd to your PC for further analysis in MS Access, MS Excel, or other data management software. This could be useful in determining which coupons bring you the most activity. The number of uses for each coupon is displayed in the admin table in Merchant 4.0
New in the compiled version is the coupon usage report. You can summarize or list each coupon used for a specific time period. You can also restrict the output to a specific coupon code or a string of characters in a coupon code. This latter is useful when you have assigned a series of coupons to an affiliate or advertising campaign. You can determine how much business was brought in with the coupons from various sources.
The compiled version of this module can use OpenTokens instead of hook points within OpenObjects. The OpenDesigner screen lists the OpenObjects which can replace all or some screens within the OpenUI user interface. The OpenObjects provide a template screen which contains the existing hook points (backward compatibility), OpenToken capability, and the ability to move output around within the OpenObject screen. Since the tokens in this module conform to OpenToken functionality, they may be used in other template type screens.
MMUI and OpenUI compatible. If you are using MMUI, there are two required edits in the mmui.mv. If using MMUI in
a compiled version of Merchant (4.14 and newer), you will need to edit and recompile the mmui.mv (expensive proposition). Thus, with compiled Merchant, we recommend using OpenUI instead of the MMUI user interface.
Easily add Extra Product Fields to your store. MmDbDOC - truXoft Data Doctor and Miva Database Editor
MmDbDOC is a tool for testing and repairing corrupted databases and database indexes. It allows you to remove duplicate records from any Merchant or non-Merchant database quickly and without downloading or importing them, directly through the Miva Merchant Admin web interface. There are three different ways of the duplicate records repair:
manual selection - you can select which of the duplicate records you keep, and remove the remaining one(s)
manual editing - you can edit the duplicates so that you keep several or all of them in the database but change the unique identifier field(s) so that the duplicate key in the index is avoided
fully automated - MmDbDOC will automatically remove all duplicate records from the selected database, keeping always the first found record in the duplicate set
MmDbDOC can be also used for viewing databases. This feature is invaluable for quick database verification, for retrieving data not accessible through Miva Merchant Admin (i.e. customer passwords, module settings, basket data, affiliate data, ...). Please note: We recommend viewing the raw databases containing sensitive data (passwords, email addresses, payment data) in secure mode only (SSL / https).
The PRO version includes a full featured database editor for modifying any Miva Merchant or 3rd party database tables. Fields may be quickly modified without downloading or exporting any data. New records may be added or old ones deleted. You can duplicate whole blocks of records with a simple click and edit them afterwards.

Please note: truXoft Ultra Batch is required for the full functionality of the standard or PRO versions. The free version of Ultra Batch that comes with MmDbDOC, allows you to see maximally up to three records at a time.
Support
truXoft offers limited free support within 30 days after the purchase of the module. Issues not included in the free support:
Information about the structure of Miva Merchant databases
Information about individual database tables or the database fields
Information about relations between individual Miva Merchant database tables
Help with repairing or editing of databases
Any other issues not directly related to MmDbDOC
Important note: The database editor in the PRO version was designed for advanced users who understand the basic structure of Miva Merchant databases. MmDbDOC allows you to edit the raw data, but makes no verification of the data you added, modified or removed. If multiple tables are in a relation, it is the user who has to insure to edit all related tables appropriately to avoid breaking the cross table links. Unqualified editing of the databases may corrupt the store. We highly recommend backing up the entire domain and store data before removing duplicate records (repair) or before editing the databases. truXoft bears absolutely no liability in case of loss of data, corrupted databases or a broken Miva Merchant store. If any such case should occur, please restore the original data from the backup.
After repairing or editing any database, you have to pack both domain and store data in Admin!
Instructions
Installation instrucitons may be found in the readme.txt included in the distribution package. After registering your license key, in Ultra Batch (Xadmin) screen in the main frame of Miva Merchant Admin, click on the tab "databases", select the mode "database list" and click the OK button. Ultra Batch will show you the list of all pre-defined databases.
If a corrupted database with duplicate records is detected, the "Repair" button appears right in the line of the concerned database. By clicking it, you access the repair interface and see the first found set of duplicate records.
You can either:
select the record you want to keep (click "KEEP Selected"),
or edit the records to avoid the duplicate key (edit the fields with light blue background so that the resulting key is different at each record) and click the button "Keep multiple"
or let MmDbDOC repair the database unattended (click "Automated Repair")
In case of manual repair, as described above in 1) and 2), you have to repeat the operation with each duplicate set individually. Normally, you should use the default mode of Ultra Batch hiding deleted records - select "standard" in the first small dropdown box in the right part of the Ultra Batch control panel. In case you use the mode "all", you'll have to navigate through the duplicate sets with the help of the navigation buttons right below the Ultra Batch control panel.
The navigation buttons can be used also when you want to preview all duplicate sets before starting to repair them. Please note that the filter expression (top left) and pagination (top right) of Ultra Batch have influence on the MmDbDOC output. When low numbers are selected in the pagination in sake of faster page loads, use the navigation buttons to proceed to the next page. It applies also for the database list, not only for the repair and edit interface of MmDbDOC.
Before starting to repair or edit databases with MmDbDOC, it is recommended to put the store into maintenance mode. Use the first button (the lock) in the Ultra Batch panel to close and re-open the store. We also highly recommend to back up the entire Miva Data directory containing the databases, before performing any operation on the data with MmDbDOC.
If you experience a runtime error in the store front or Admin, where the message speaks about a database index, copy the message, and after opening the mode "parse error" in the "databases" tab of Ultra Batch, paste the error into the displayed field. MmDbDOC will look up the databases and launch the repair interface.
In case you need to repair a database not listed, you can select the "3rd party dB" mode and enter the database and index paths manually to start the repair function.
Database viewer (demo and standard versions), or the database editor (PRO version) can be launched by clicking the requested database alias in the database list.
IMPORTANT: after repairing or editing any database, you have to pack both domain and store data in Admin!

Membership SuperMod for Discounts Sales and Membership Rewards
The Membership SuperMod allows you to create Membership Groups in Miva Merchant giving the store owner ways to reward customers through Customer Appreciation Discounts, Sales and Points that can be redeemed for a discount. The storeowner can make various Membership Groups allowing the owner to offer different levels of Membership (and its benefits) depending on the “level of loyalty” of the customer. Customers can be automatically moved from one Membership Group to the next as their purchasing increases. The Membership SuperMod also provides facilities to create special time-based sales for all shoppers in the store.
Key Benefits:
User Interface Independent: Utilizes standard features of Miva Merchant for setting discounts and availability. Can be used with MMUI and OpenUI.
Full automatic control of all Price and Availability Group customer assignments. Membership Groups define a set of price and availability groups that are automatically applied to all members of the Membership Group.
Membership Groups can have a set beginning date, expiration date or specific duration
Configurable to display discounts as a price reduction in the basket and checkout screens so customer is aware of their savings
Basket price adjustments are performed when a user logs in; thus allowing the customer to take advantage of their membership even if they log in after shopping.
Membership and Sales Features:
Time-duration based sales: The store administrator can configure special “Automatic” membership groups that apply to every customer immediately upon login. This is useful for creating special sales periods where all shoppers receive a discount on any or all products in the store
Membership Rewards Program: Provide multiple levels of discounts to customers based on their purchase history. Memberships into discount (price) groups can occur by point accumulation, purchase accumulation, or points spent.
Points Redemption Program: Provide a points redemption program where customers accumulate points based on purchase history, then can receive discounts in the store by redeeming points for discounts.
Exclusive Membership Groups: The storeowner can create membership groups that remove the customer from all other groups as they enter an exclusive group.
Automatic entry into membership groups based on:
Purchase of a specific product
Prior Price or Availability Group membership
Entering Membership Code into the customer account
Automatic removal from membership groups based on:
Allowed duration of a membership
Expiration date of a membership
Entry into an exclusive group
Manual expiration by administrator
Customer benefits:
Receive pre-established discounts at checkout when part of a Membership Group
Accumulate points when making purchases
Redeem accumulated points when making purchases
Receive pre-established discounts and earn/use points even if login to Membership Group during a shopping session
Pay with dollars (in addition to points) if there are not enough points accumulated to cover the cost of the entire order
Storeowner has complete control when creating Membership Groups
Optionally create a “Signup Fee” for the Membership Group
Limit the duration of a Membership Group (in days) – great for running sales!
Manually adjust the number of points in a customer record
Allow or disallow points to be used to pay for tax or shipping
Include Price and Availability Groups in the Membership Group
Track total purchases, discounts, points earned and points spent by customer
Add customers to a group and individually specify their end date within the Membership Group
Determine thresholds for automatic inclusion of a customer in a Membership Group
Product Requirements: The major features of the Membership SuperMod are provided through the standard Miva Merchant API. Thus, this module can be used in any Miva Merchant 4.x store. However, in order to redeem points at checkout and fully customize the module display and layout features, you must be using a UI module that provides templates or tokens- either OpenUI or MMUI with the Copernicus DynamicTemplate Engine. OpenUI users who also have the OpenUI SuperMod can perform additional customizations that are not available when just using OpenUI.
Uncompiled Miva Merchant 4.00-4.13:
OpenUI 4.9+ based stores
MMUI based stores
Miva Merchant 4.14+
OpenUI 4.9+ based stores
MMUI based stores
When the Membership SuperMod is used with Dynamic Templates for MMUI-based stores or with the OpenUI SuperMod for OpenUI-based stores, the storeowner can take advantage of the templates and tokens available in these modules thus allowing the storeowner to tailor the module output to his specific needs.

Export your Miva Merchant product data in the basic file format required for FroogleTM ( 2002 Google) data feed submissions for inclusion in their ecommerce search engine. Fields included: product_url, name, description (html removed), price, image_url, category, offer_id (code). This module is for MIVA Merchant 5.x. We also have the corresponding module for an older version of Merchant.
Most agree, Google is the mother of all search engines onthe Internet. Their feature to create a listing of actual items for sale across the Internet, rather thanpages with hits on keywords, is a bold attempt to better target customers and buyers in a symbiotic relationship. This is a giant leap in eCommerce, providing comparison shopping using the Google search engine. If you are a MivaMerchant store owner you CANNOT afford to miss this opportunity, especially since inclusion in the FroogleTMindex is free. How much have youinvested in getting your store's search engine rankings?
A big side benefit to getting listed in FroogleTM is that the Google company is spidering your site, thus it may increase the number of your pages listed in Google. Coincidentally, my site went from 1220 to 1350 pages in Google within a week after submitting the first data feed to FroogleTM. I had an additional 130 which had been previously overlooked. There is no direct indication that listing in Froogle will effect your listing in Google, only time will tell.
A module designed for the specific purpose of creatinga data feed for FroogleTM (rather than a generic data export)can include features which make it the best solution for the task:
Include an affiliate code in the URLs so that youcan better track where actual sales are coming from
If your store is a single store in the domain, you can remove the Store_Code from the URL to aid in search engine spidering
Fast Data Feed plugin module creates the datafeed flat file directly from your admin
Frequent, no hassle submissions keep your data currentin FroogleTM
Eliminates the need to copy product and category databases from the server to your PC to produce a flat file export with software such as MS Excel
Uses your data as it exists within admin at the moment it is run
Control over category insertion
Limit export to specific categories
Automatically builds the category hierarchy from each product's category up to top level category
Optionally modify category placement, overriding actual category hierarchy
Removes html from your product descriptions; convertingthe brackets to escaped characters or even hiding html using the !-- technique did not satisfy FroogleTM support staff - it must be completely removed
Included in the module are features to eliminate timeouts when generating the data feed export of large numbers of products
Exports to your documents directory rather than yourdata directory for ease of capture and transmittal
Don't delay. The FroogleTM index is a great way to list your products in a major search engine.
Steps
Submit request to FroogleTM for acceptance into the program
Install this module and run it
Once accepted, FTP resulting (username).txt flat file to FroogleTM
Check your pages in FroogleTM when they show up
If you are going to submit to indexes in addition to Froogle, you might want to take a look at our Template Data Feed. It can create data feeds in just about any order the specification requires.
