This is a credit card module which prompts the customer for the usual information: name on card, card number, and expiration date. A robust inventory tracking module that provides you with the ability to track inventory down to the option level (combination of options actually; large red, large green, etc.). Unlike the stock Merchant inventory feature, this module lets you define as many inventory notification "levels" as you want each with it's own inventory cut-off. For each level you can configure emails to be sent as well as determine what action, if any, is to be taken when the product's inventory reaches that level. You can configure the levels to take no action, prevent the sale of the product, or prevent the display of the product (by making the product inactive). So you could have a level for "low inventory" and assign a cut-off of say 3 items to it and that notification level will be triggered and send you an email notifying you that inventory is getting low. You could also specify a second level of "out of stock" and assign a cut-off of 0 items to it. When the inventory reaches the cut-off for "low inventory" it will send out emails as configured for that level and prevent further sales of the module. The inventory count is adjusted as the customer adds the product to their basket. However, the module doesn't wait until you delete expired baskets to retrieve inventory. It can be configured to dynamically sweep the inventory of expired baskets back into stock. It sweeps every time the product is displayed so no inventory "lingers" in expired baskets. It can also be done from within the module's admin and the inventory display on the individual product's "Inventory Manager" page shows you how many of the product are currently in "unexpired" baskets (the expired baskets already having been cleaned of inventory before the count is displayed). The module will let you track inventory for any combination of attributes and options that a product might have (you can even track inventory for "checkbox" type attributes; I don't know why anyone would want to but I'm sure someone will eventually discover that they need to). In addition, instead of tracking inventory by "count", you can select to track a product in "simple" mode; e.g. you can assign a particular notification level to a product (eg. "in stock" or "out of stock") but the inventory count itself does not change. The inventory level stays the same until you change it in admin. The ability to track in simple mode is an option for each product/attribute. So you can track some of your items in "simple" mode while using the full capability of the module in tracking the inventory of others. The module has the ability to display the inventory and control the display on the products, category, search, and product listing pages. It also has tokens for use with our Template modules as well as the OpenUI.

This module provides you with the tools you need to let your customers check the status of their past orders. It adds a link (or links, in up to 13 different positions), to the Merchant pages which customers can use to access their order history. The customer is given a display of all of their past orders. They can view the details of any of the orders, and even search them for details. The tracking numbers themselves can be direct links to the shipper's website tracking page, so the customer can check the status of their order with simple click on a link. The merchant, can access a listing of all orders, searchable by customer, date, orderid, shiping status, tracking number, etc., change their status, enter tracking numbers (for orders and even individual products), and have an email sent to the customer notifying them of the change. Shipping labels can be displayed and printed for each order. The format of the shipping label/packing slip is completely configurable using tokens. The merchant can individually configure many of the features of the module. For example, the status themselves are NOT predefined. The Merchant can configure these to be whatever he wants. Similarly, the "tracking types" can be configured, complete with a URL to use for that type of tracking number. When the tracking number is displayed to the customer, that URL is used to take the customer to the shipper's tracking page. The module comes preconfigured with the URLs for UPS, USPS, and FedEx but adding additional tracking types is simple. The merchant can select to send an email when the status of an order changes. Email can be sent to the customer's billing, shipping, or both, email addresses. Separate text for each type of email can be configured (ie. separate email text can be configured for when the status changes to "shipping", or "back-ordered", or whatever). The email text can include dozens of possible tokens that can be used to represent the customer's details (first name, last name, login, password etc.), tracking status, link to the customer's orders status page (it automatically logs them in), link to the storefront, and many more. The module does not require that the customer be logged in for their order data to be saved. Of course if the customer was not logged in when they placed their order, they won't be able to view the order later. The module maintains a separate database of the orders which is a duplicate of Merchant's order databases, including the payment and shipping details. So you can delete orders from within Merchant admin, but the customers will still be able to view their past orders. The Order Status orders can be deleted from within the modules admin interface. That interface also provides the ability to search the orders by date, customer, tracking number, tracking type, and status. This is a simple payment module which is totally configurable. The user can configure the method name that appears in the drop down payment selection box and up to 10 prompts (although none need be specified) and text prompts that appear on the payment data collection screen. Each field may be configured to be "required" so that a simple check verifies that the field has been filled out. If no field is configured then none will be displayed. In addition, a message may be configured that will be displayed above the prompts and fields on the payment page. This module provides your store with a more configurable and robust search page. It permits you to offer your customer the option to search categories and attributes and to limit their search to particular fields in the Products database. Searches can be made case sensitive, restricted to searching only the entire phrase, and made to use either AND or OR. In addition, the module provides for the separate configuration of keywords for your products and those keywords can be included in the search. The module supports the Viking Coder's Additional Product Fields Manager module and you can provide your customers with the ability to search the fields that you have configured for your products. All of the configurable options, including the particular fields to search on, can selectively be made default options and hidden from your customers. In this way you can restrict the search to only those fields you want your customers to search in. The module comes with two distinct admin interfaces. One provides for the simple configuration of a default layout for the search page and display of results. For those familiar with HTML and looking for a specific layout, there is a template based configuration option which provides for complete token and template based control over the layout of the search page and results listing. Support is also provided for Third Party modules in the same manner as my Category Page Templates and Product Page Templates modules. A sampling of the module's features: - Can be configured to replace the standard Merchant Search link and will use the same search button. So you can have the standard search link instead point to the Search Manager search page
- The search page can be linked to from a static link with a link of the form:
áááhttp://yoursite.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=SRCHM&Store_Code=storecode - Customers can search the categories for their search terms and the results are displayed above the product results (in the standard display format; they can go anywhere you want with the template formatting).
- Customers can restrict the search to find only the entire phrase they entered by surrounding the search terms in double quotes. Eg. "Clown nose" will find only those products which contain the exact phrase "Clown nose"
- Keywords can be saved for each product and category and those can be used to search in. To search the keywords for the products is an option for the products. The keywords are searched automatically for the categories. In both cases a tab is added to the individual category and product screens so that the keywords can be added.
- You can redirect customers who add products from the results listing either back to the search page or to the basket.
- All of the buttons (eg. "search", "add to basket", "previous", etc.) are configurable w/ images and alternate text.
- When using the Template formatting option, you can use tokens to add drop down select lists with terms your customers might want to search for. They can then search for those with a simple selection from the list.
- When using the Template formatting option, you can provide the customer with the option to sort the displayed results ascending or descending by product name, product code, or product id.
- When using the Template formatting option, you can use multiple search fields to prompt your customer to search for multiple terms. For example, you could provide a field for "title" and a field for "author" to prompt our customer to narrow their search

Feature Details.
The responses are exported to a delimited text file which can beimported into most database management systems for further analysis. Youcan also have those responses appear in the Miva Merchant Email notification and batchprocessing (modified email and batch modules included in the zip file). Use the module for the customer to add specialinstructions for the order, collect responses from survey or pollquestions, allow the customer to fill out gift card messages, include salesman orrepresentative code, etc.The admin interface allows you to build the form withyour store's questions using standard html syntax. Hence,you can make the response collection table match the restof your store's look and feel. You can have text, radio, select drop down list, text area, and checkbox inputs designed the way you want them. Add css if you like or use typical fonts and table tags. You can place the questions on one of the three checkout screens. You simply add the tokens to the page templates per the install doc. You can also specify one or moreof the questions to be required. Customers will not be able to completethe checkout if they do not respond to the required questions. You can purge old questions from the active file and place them in ahistorical file in order to improve response time during order batchprocessing retrieval. The optional order batch retrieval uses the modified core batch report which is included in the zip distribution file. You can limit the display of Addendumquestions based on specific product codes. If you list productcodes in the admin input, the questions will only be displayedif one of those products is in the basket at checkout. Youcan also use the wild card product code like 1AA*. If theapplicable products all begin with the same characters, youcan use the asterisk. This can only be used for the beginningcharacters in the product codes. You can alsolimit the display of questions to specific ship to countries. You can optionally includethe questions in the emails along with the responses by using the modified email modules which are included in the zip distribution file.If using our Mail Manager (sold separately) module you can have a question (checkbox) which will trigger a specific email, e.g. opt-in mailinglist signup. You can also include the questions and responseson the invoice (last page after payment completes). Theresponses for the batch report are retrieved from an indexeddatabase for faster access. You can alsoattach a fee to a specific answer to one question if youplace the questions on either the customer information orshipping/payment selection screens. The included Addendum View report featureallows you to search (within admin) the addendum filefor specific responses. For example, you might have a questionfor a specific requested shipping date. Simply search the filefor orders which have requested the delayed shipping for thatdate. The order numbers can be returned and fed into our EZ Batchreport (sold separately) for a tailored report for a specific shipping date. Another popular use of Addendum is to collect the salesman or representativecode with an order. Not only can you display the code in the batch report,but if you use Addendum View to create a list of orders attributed to thatsalesman, you can make a batch printout for each salesmanwith only their orders on it if you are using our EZ Batch Report (sold separately). You can also include the Addendum responses in the order export file that EZ Batch creates. Limitation: When used in a store which uses PayFlowlink, PayPal or iTransact payment systems, you will need to placeyour questions on either the customer information screenor the shipping and payment selection screen. Thosepayment systems transport the customer to another domain.Hence, the module needs to save the responses to a filebefore the customer is transported off-site. When thecustomer returns from the off-site payment screens backto your store, the responses will be retrieved for savingto flat file or display in your merchant notification email. The included modified merchant email and batch reports will display the Addendum resposes. Additionally, the batch report can provide page breaks between each order for better printouts (incoices). Also, the merchant notification email allows you to insert tokens in the subject line so you can include things like the order number, order total, and customer name in the subject of the email. Compare this module with our competitors' pro or advanced or ultimate versions. Those are just words tacked onto a module name. Don't let our low price fool you - compare features and you will find this module probably contains all of the features found in theirs plus we have several additional features. The Addendum module has been in use since Merchant version 1.x and continually enhanced with each version. Our competitors will try to keep up, but the simple choice is, why get a shadow when you can get the "original". The module currently fully supports the mivasql configuration of MIVA Merchant 5. It also supports MySQL as long as load balancing has the data stored on the single MySQL server. This would be the case in most of the server setups. For those that are not, we are in the process of converting the code for that remaining, very small group of MIVA Merchant stores. At this time we have not had a problem.
