The "Hide Prices Pending Customer Approval" module contains a wealth of functionality and customizable options. It's tremendously useful for wholesalers and other store owners that want to limit access to a known, and approved, customer base.

Product Prices Hidden
Product prices can be hidden until a customer's account has been approved by the store's owner. Optionally, prices can be hidden until a customer creates or logs-in to an account (without requiring approval of the account).

Buttons Too
The product prices - and the "Add To Cart" and the "Buy One Now" buttons - can be hidden on the Product List, Categories, Search Results, and Product Display screens. An optional, fully-customizable message can be displayed in place of the hidden prices.

Require Customer Login
Customers can be required to login (or create a new account) before being granted access to the entire store or to the product-related pages (Product Listing, Categories, Search, Product Display & Basket screens).

For instance - The module can be configured to "Hide Prices Pending Approval of Customer Account" and to "Require Login to View Products".

With this configuration:

Customers could access the storefront but would be prevented from accessing the Product Listing, Categories, Search, Product Display & Basket screens. They could of course also access the Login & Create New Accounts screens.
Once the customer logged in or created a new account, they would then be able to view the Product Listing, Categories, Search & Product Display screens, but the prices would be hidden.
Once the account was approved by the store's administrator, the customer would be able to login and view product prices.

Customer Messages
An optional & customizable "Customer Account Pending Approval" message can be displayed just below the Miva Merchant header. An optional & customizable message can also be displayed on the Customer Account & Customer Information screens. This can be used to inform the customer of the store's policy for accessing the product prices.

For example:
"Approval of customer account is required. Please complete the customer account form. You will be notified by email when your account is approved."

Two Modules In One
It's actually two modules - a OpenUI system module and an administrative utility Module. The system module customizes the store's look and feel and limits access to prices. The administrative utility module provides the store owner with the ability of reviewing and approving customer accounts.

It's also a feature-rich, admin-friendly customer management utility.

Choose the way you approve customer accounts - accounts can now be approved using either the standard Customer admin or the administrative utility module.

Quick Approval of Customer Accounts
The Approve Customers administrative utility module also has a "quick approval" feature. A store's administrator can quickly search for a new customer by login, email address, or other keyword - then approve the customer with one click.

Admin-Friendly navigation - Sort Customers by newest, by id, or by login. Search by login, name or other keyword. Easily scroll through customer records, choose how many are displayed per page, go to first or last record, approve, edit or delete records.

Integrated Price & Availability Groups Support
The store administrator can also assign customers to a price and/or availability group at the same time that accounts are being approved.

A great diagnostic and database tool for developers, administrators and store owners. With Latu Developers' Tools, you can easily view the structure and content of any Miva Merchant database.

User-friendly Navigation ű quickly scroll through records, screen by screen, select any record and display it's full content, or easily link to the first or last record in a database.

Comprehensive Search Functionality ű find a keyword in any field of a database.

An "Open In New Window" tab is provided for, well, doing just that - opening the Latu Developers' Tools in a new window so that you can more easily use it while accessing other parts of the Miva Merchant admin.

"reveal" & "view" links are provided to the left of each listed database. The "reveal" link displays the structure of the selected database, and the "view" link lists the selected database's records.

Databases can also be selected through a drop-down menu, which makes it easy to switch between databases.

Navigation tabs are also provided for easily linking back and forth between the "Reveal Database Structure" & "View Database Records" screens.

Navigate through the database records by clicking on the "first", "prev", "next", or "last" links. Use the "prev" and "next" to navigate from screen to screen (20 records per screen). Go to the end of the database (the most recent record) by clicking on the "last" link. Return to the beginning of the database by clicking on the "first" link.

A convenient"Refresh Database Records" link is also provided for easily refreshing the database records currently listed on the screen. The position in the database and any search string that has been entered will be kept.

14 Meta Discounts & Coupons latu /

Entice customers with a range of discounts based on the total price or total quantity of products in their basket. Quickly create a tiered discount schedule, offering customers larger discounts as they purchase more. Offer customers promotional coupons which they can redeem as an additional incentive. Discounts and coupons can be a fixed dollar amount or a percentage of the total price of products in the basket, and a minimum purchase can be required. Discounts are recalculated each time the basket contents is displayed. Features and appearance are highly customizable.

Basket discounts can be based on either the total price or total quantity of products in the customer's basket. Discount is recalculated each time the basket contents is displayed.

A range of discounts can be offered, each requiring a minimum purchase. Discounts can be a fixed dollar amount or a percentage of the total price of products in the basket, and a minimum purchase can be required.

For instance - A 5% discount could be offered for purchases of $200 to $999.99 and a 10% discount could be offered for $1,000 or more. Or a $25.00 discount could be offered for purchases of 5 to 9 products and a $100 discount could be offered for 10 or more products.

A table listing the tiered discounts can be dynamically displayed on the storefront screen and at the top or the bottom of the basket contents screen.

The appearance of the discounts table is highly customizable. An optional title, description, and column headers can be customized. The table alignment, width, border, cellspacing, cellpadding can be also be customized. And the background colors of the title, column headers, and content rows can be customized.

Promotional coupons can be for any fixed dollar amount or a percentage discount from the total price of products in the customer's basket. Customer can redeem the coupons by entering a code anytime on the basket contents screen or on the customer information screen during the checkout process. A minimum purchase (total price or total quantity) can be required for each coupon.

A coupon redemption form can be displayed at the top or the bottom of the basket contents screen. And a coupon redemption field can be displayed within the customer information form.

Once a customer enters a coupon code, the discount will be recalculated each time the basket contents is displayed. This means that customers see their discounts as they are shopping, rather than at checkout.

If a coupon is redeemed without the minimum purchase being met, then a message is displayed informing the customer of the minimum purchase requirement. The discount will be applied when the minimum purchase requirement is met.

Once a coupon has been redeemed, an optional description can be displayed within the basket content.

The appearance of the coupon redemption form is highly customizable. An optional title, description and prompt can be customized. The table alignment, width, border, cellspacing, cellpadding can be also be customized. And the background color of the title can be customized.
