You can generate the report by selecting from a list of existing batches. You can also run the report by including a | delimited list of order numbers in the input. This allows you to create/print a batch report of unbatched order(s).
You can also create packing slips with this same module. Exclude certain elements like the shippingand payment details, along with product prices and totals, and you have a convenient printoutwhich can be packed with the items as an inventory list. This is made easy by using the optionto insert a page break after each order.
When used for creating packing slips, you'll probably use the option to include your store addressand logo image on each page.
If you are using our Addendum module you can display one or more of the responses. You canselect which ones will be displayed. You can use Addendum View (report module with Addendum) to generate a list of order IDs which match a certain criteria. For example, you might have a question on checkout to have the customer designate their desired delivery date. You can search the Addendum responses for a specific date and it will create the view list (order IDs) which can be used in the EZ Batch. Another popular use of Addendum is to collect the salesman or representativecode with an order. Not only can you display the code in the batch report, but if you use Addendum View tocreate a list of orders attributed to that salesman, you can make a batch printout for each salesman with only their orders on it.
You can select to create flat files of the customer addresses when you run EZ Batch. It formats them in an order which can be imported into programs like Fedex's online label creator and Endiciainternet postage printer. It can also generate a flat file of customer info which can be imported into Quickbooks. Import a flat file of customer addresses from the batch into My UPS address book. You can either retrieve the files from the server with FTP or have them emailed at the completion of the batch report. Clerks don't need access to your Merchant admin. No copy and paste; a few clicks and the order addresses are imported into the above programs.
You can select to create a flat file of the orders when you run EZ Batch. This export is similar to the standard orders export in Miva Merchant. However, one important omission in the standard export is the "other" charges, which includes things like coupons, fees, etc. The "other" charges is specified in the Miva Merchant API, but was ignored when the code for the standard report was written. You can also include the Addendum responses (if you are using our Addendum module) in the orders export. You can either retrieve the file from the server with FTP or have it emailed at the completion of the batch report.
If you have 3rd party modules which can use a token to insert their data into the batch report, youcan use tokens in the format %module|xxxxx|xx%
The module currently fully supports the mivasql configuration of MIVA Merchant 5. It also supports MySQL as long as load balancing has the data stored on the single MySQL server. This would be the case in most of the server setups. For those that are not, we are in the process of converting the code for that remaining, very small group of MIVA Merchant stores. This module provides you with the tools you need to let your customers check the status of their past orders. It adds a link (or links, in up to 13 different positions), to the Merchant pages which customers can use to access their order history. The customer is given a display of all of their past orders. They can view the details of any of the orders, and even search them for details. The tracking numbers themselves can be direct links to the shipper's website tracking page, so the customer can check the status of their order with simple click on a link. The merchant, can access a listing of all orders, searchable by customer, date, orderid, shiping status, tracking number, etc., change their status, enter tracking numbers (for orders and even individual products), and have an email sent to the customer notifying them of the change. Shipping labels can be displayed and printed for each order. The format of the shipping label/packing slip is completely configurable using tokens. The merchant can individually configure many of the features of the module. For example, the status themselves are NOT predefined. The Merchant can configure these to be whatever he wants. Similarly, the "tracking types" can be configured, complete with a URL to use for that type of tracking number. When the tracking number is displayed to the customer, that URL is used to take the customer to the shipper's tracking page. The module comes preconfigured with the URLs for UPS, USPS, and FedEx but adding additional tracking types is simple. The merchant can select to send an email when the status of an order changes. Email can be sent to the customer's billing, shipping, or both, email addresses. Separate text for each type of email can be configured (ie. separate email text can be configured for when the status changes to "shipping", or "back-ordered", or whatever). The email text can include dozens of possible tokens that can be used to represent the customer's details (first name, last name, login, password etc.), tracking status, link to the customer's orders status page (it automatically logs them in), link to the storefront, and many more. The module does not require that the customer be logged in for their order data to be saved. Of course if the customer was not logged in when they placed their order, they won't be able to view the order later. The module maintains a separate database of the orders which is a duplicate of Merchant's order databases, including the payment and shipping details. So you can delete orders from within Merchant admin, but the customers will still be able to view their past orders. The Order Status orders can be deleted from within the modules admin interface. That interface also provides the ability to search the orders by date, customer, tracking number, tracking type, and status. Product Based Free Shipping! Offer your customers incentives like Free Shipping or Shipping Discounts on specific products. This is a great way for you to promote and provide incentive to buy high ticket items or featured products! The module allows you to specify which products should be available for Free Shipping and which Shipping Method free shipping applies to, such as UPS Ground. When your customers place an order for one or more products with Free Shipping and select the appropriate shipping method, in our example UPS Ground, the entire cost of shipping will be discounted. If the customer’s order contains products with Free Shipping in addition to products without Free Shipping then a Shipping Discount for each Free Shipping product will be applied to their order as specified for each product. This allows you to still offer your customers an incentive to purchase featured products while not having to offer them free shipping on their entire order. Additionally, if your customer places an order for products with Free Shipping but chooses a shipping method other than the one specified for Free Shipping (i.e. UPS Ground) they will still receive a Shipping Discount towards their order. This is a great way to offer incentive to customers who also want to receive their order faster or live outside of the specified shipping method’s area. Method of discounting The module works by dynamically excluding each product which is configured for free shipping from the customer’s basket weight at checkout. This effectively reduces the total weight of the basket and the shipping cost returned from any weight based shipping module such as those for UPS, USPS, FedEx, as well as other generic modules that calculate shipping cost based on weight This dynamic exclusion can be limited to only occur when the customer selects a specific shipping method such as UPS Ground. Additionally, only products that have free shipping enabled will be excluded from the basket weight, allowing

Specifically designed to integrate with the Merchant admin screens, this Shipping and Handling module permits the merchant to set a separate shipping rate (based on quantity) for each product. At the time of checkout, the module goes through the basket and looks up the shipping rate for each individual product. It adds up the rate for each item to determine the shipping charge for that order. Any number of separate methods may be set up (eg. UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc.) and each method may have it's own rates assigned to the products. A default shipping rate may be set in the modules admin for each method. The default applies to all products that are not specifically configured w/ their own shipping rate. In addition, each method may be assigned to domestic addresses, foreign addresses, or both. Methods that don't apply to a particular customer won't be available as an option. The "domestic" country used to determine the destination is configurable in the module.
