Miva Merchant storeowners now have a single import/export solution for handling any data transfer operation, regardless of the module provider or Miva Merchant feature. The Import/Export SuperMod can export any Miva Merchant database to flat file. The storeowner can then edit this file and re-import the changes!
Example Usage 1: Importing Large Product Databases Customers who have many products often have difficulty uploading all products through the standard Miva Merchant product import. Timeouts can prevent the import from completing, leaving the store in an unknown state. The Import/Export SuperMod provides timeout protection, and will allow the store-owner to load even the largest of product databases without timeout issues.
Example Usage 2: Fixing Duplicate Record Issues A common problem for some Miva Merchant users, duplicate database records or ids can cause significant operational issues within your Miva Merchant store. Until now, the only way to fix the duplicate records was to edit the Miva Database files by hand, which requires special purpose database software or contracting to a Miva consultant. The Import/Export SuperMod provides the storeowner with an easy way to edit and fix duplicate database records using any text editor, Excel or even Access.
Example Usage 3: Import and Export 3rd Party Module Data Many excellent third party modules exist that provide extended store functionality. However, many of these products do not contain an import/export function for configuration data. If the module allows configuration for each category or product, configuring it properly in a large store can be very time consuming using the Miva Merchant web interface. The Import/Export SuperMod allows the storeowner to export any database, including those from 3rd party modules! Now importing configuration data into any module database, regardless of the module vendor, can be accomplished

Export module to export the order information each time an order is placed.
Options available include specifying export filename, export delimiter, appending, or overwriting existing export file, moving file to a protected web directory (configurable through admin), e-mail notifications of exports. This module also allows you to manually export a batch to a file, using the above options - as well as exporting ALL batches available to a file.
Normal batch exports only export the payment type, and not the data into its own feilds. Payment types supported currently: LinkPoint (Card Service Intl), Authorize.net, and Credit card w/ simple validation.) Contact us for information on file format used: which includes payment data for credit cards (Name, card number, expiration, Authorization code.) Compatibility with encrypted batches has not been evaluated or tested. A future release may be necessary for this new Merchant feature in 4.13+ stores.
This export wizard module creates a flat file from your Merchant databases. You can select any of your Merchant databases under your store directory. It will display the file structure. You can then change the order that the fields will export on each line. You can even exclude fields by deleting their export order number. Once a report is run, as a time saver, you can save the export parameters for use again. The first screen below shows a list of pre-saved reports in this store. By picking one of those, I do not have to identify the file names and export field order again.
This module provides a more configurable means to export your batched order data to a flat file. The format and content of the header and exported orders is configured with tokens. Tokens are available for all of the order data and you can control exactly what data is exported. Including the shipping and payment data, even the data stored in the payment module's own databases. So you can export the credit card numbers and other payment data regardless of which payment module you have.
The Generic Orders Export module started life as a Worldship export module. It permits the order data to be exported in a format which can then be imported into UPS Worldship. The documentation includes information on what format to use for the export (and the module includes a "default" option for this format).
Miva Merchant Store owners that add custom product fields quickly learn there is no easy way to export their data. Exporting products to a flat file is no problem. When custom product fields are added, exporting product data can become overwhelming for all but the most technical Miva store owners.
The Quick Export module allows you to export your Custom Product fields in a format that will be easier to work with for importing purposes. You can export either OUI custom product fields or Miva’s own built-in custom product fields.
The custom product fields are exported to a tab-delimited file listing all your products, by product code, and their values for all the custom product fields you have in your store.
The custom product fields can be re-imported into miva using either the built-in or OUI product import.
Most agree, Google is the mother of all search engines on the Internet. Their new venture to create a listing of actual items for sale across the Internet, rather than pages with hits on keywords, is a bold attempt to better target customers and buyers in a symbiotic relationship. This is a giant leap in eCommerce, providing comparison shopping using the Google search engine. If you are a Miva Merchant store owner you CANNOT afford to miss this opportunity, especially since inclusion in the FroogleTM index is free. How much have you invested in getting your store's search engine rankings?
A big side benefit to getting listed in FroogleTM is that the Google company is spidering your site, thus it may increase the number of your pages listed in Google. Coincidentally, my site went from 1220 to 1350 pages in Google within a week after submitting the first data feed to FroogleTM. Granted, I use Static Catalog Generator to create static html pages of all of my products so there were already a lot of pages in Google. Now I have an additional 130 which had been overlooked. If you don't have a good representation of your product catalog already in Google or other search indexes, you may want to use the Static Catalog Generator to optimize site visibility. Search engine optimization requires a multi-pronged approach (static html pages, shorter links, specific paid or unpaid submissions to directories). I have found that use of static html pages consistently gets my site into search indexes better than the dynamically produced Miva Merchant pages. There is no direct indication that listing in Froogle will effect your listing in Google, only time will tell.
A module designed for the specific purpose of creating a data feed for FroogleTM (rather than a generic data export) can include features which make it the best solution for the task:
Include an affiliate code in the URLs so that you can better track where actual sales are coming from
If your store is a single store in the domain, you can remove the Store_Code from the URL to aid in search engine spidering
If you are using our Volume Pricing module (version 4.53 or newer), you have the option to submit the lowest (bulk) prices as your product prices, thus making your listings more attractive when compared with competitors in the FroogleTM listing. However, the Google Feeds Support said the quantity option is not yet supported so it would be "best if you just give the price for ordering a single item". Eventually they plan to list the minimum break points to obtain the volume prices.

Don't delay. The FroogleTM index is still in beta. As such, knowledge about it is not yet widespread due to limited promotion. The FroogleTM support team has been reviewing requests for inclusion and currently have reasonable turn around time. Your store may or may not be accepted and I would expect it to take longer and have more stipulations for acceptance and continued inclusion as this service becomes more popular. You should request acceptance into FroogleTM as soon as possible. Once accepted, whether you use our module for building the datafeed or some other software, you should do it now while time is on your side.
As this is a new endeavor for FroogleTM, I expect them to change their format and add new capabilities over time. Licensees of the 4.x version of this module will have free upgrades of the module through the 4.x version. We do not yet have a 2.x version available but will be exploring that option next week. Please ensure you select the correct module version for the version of Merchant you have.
This product includes several import and export modules you can use to sort products, categories and products in categories. The export modules export the appropriate codes that you then sort in any program you wish that can read a text file. You then use the included import files to import the codes in the order you would like them to appear.
The import modules include an admin interface to upload the file, while the export modules include the ability to send the export file as an email attatchment to the email address you specify.
This module allows a Merchant store owner to import attributes (text, textarea, checkbox, radio, and select) and options from an easily edited/managed flat file. The module also allows the type "template" to be specified if you have previously added the corresponding template through admin. The module will also delete product attributes which the store owner identifies for deletion. For those sites with time-out problems, multiple flat files can be used to break up the number of attributes and options being imported at one time.
Normally, additions are made based on the product code. A typical version 2.x entry in the flat file for a radio button attribute for a specific product would be: A|1AA00004|version|radio|Merchant Version:|0|0|1|| O|1AA00004|version|2X|2.xx|0|0|1| O|1AA00004|version|1X|1.xx (add $1.00)|1|1|0|
The key for the field values is: A|product_code|code|type|prompt|price|cost|required|image|template code O|product_code|attribute_code|option_code|prompt|price|cost|default|image
This module also allows you to import the same attributes/options by category code. That way you can fill all of the products in a category with the same attributes. This saves considerable typing in the flat file.
If for some reason you want to delete attributes, you can easily delete all attributes related to a product code.
The attribute and option EXPORT module is distributed with the IMPORT module. It creates a flat file in the format described above so that the data can be re-imported after off-line editing. It does not export the templates.
Miva Merchant QuickBooks Batch Export Module allows you to export a file to import all of a batch customers and orders into QuickBooks. Configurable options for this module include:
Primary Customer ID Field Invoices or Cash Sales Flag the orders as "To Be Printed"
The export file can be emailed as an attatchment to any email address you specify. If you use our VendorTrkTM module, the export will also automatically generate Vendor Bills upon import.
Miva Merchant QuickBooks Product Export Module allows you to export a file of all of your store's products into a format readable by QuickBooks. If you use our VendorTrk? module, the export will also automatically setup the products to be supplied by the appropriate vendors. You can optionally email the export file as an attatchment to the email address you specify in the Merchant Admin screen for the module.
Prevents the purchase of specific products in your store which cannot be exported outside your export eligible country list. It can be configured through admin to restrict states or zip codes instead of countries. It allows one location eligibility list for the store. Then you add the products which may not be shipped outside of that list. For the zip codes, you can restrict export to an individual list of zipcodes or zip code ranges. You can use either the 5 digits or the abbreviated first 3 digits of the zip code. The module also has a wildcardsetting so you can put all of the products in the store on the export prohibited list instead of just certain products. During checkout, after entering the ship to information, the module checks the basket against the eligible destination list. If prohibited exports are in the basket, the customer cannot proceed further and is advised which products must be removed from the basket. The message the customer sees is configurable through the store admin.
This module is for MIVA Merchant 5.x. We also have the corresponding module for an older version of Merchant.
The module currently fully supports the mivasql configuration of MIVA Merchant 5. It also supports MySQL as long as load balancing has the data stored on the single MySQL server. This would be the case in most of the server setups. For those that are not, we are in the process of converting the code for that remaining, very small group of MIVA Merchant stores. At this time we have not had a problem. Modules will be moved to the top of the queue as needed.
Export orders to a flat file with credit card payment with simple validation data. This export module is intended to export the orders with credit card data when used with the "Credit Card with Payment with Simple Validation" payment module. Allows you to delete orders with secure info from the storefront after safely exporting the data to a flat file. Very handy for storefronts that use the Credit Card Payment with Simple Validation as their payment option!

Limitations: 1) Currently the module can only be used for the general products export for Merchant 4.x uncompiled. With the compiled version (Merchant 4.14 and newer) of the module, you can export book, music, and video type products if you are using one of the additional field methods above.
2) We will be upgrading the Y Feed module for compiled Merchant (4.14 and newer) to include the following product categories in the future: video games, computers, and electronics.
EZ Batch report module lets you run a batch report on either batched or unbatched orders. You canalso use it to create packing slips and create flat files for use with tools like the Fedex online label, Endicia internet postage, and UPS's My UPS programs. It creates an orders export flat file with data the standard export program forgot to include. It can email the flat file exports to you. This module is for MIVA Merchant 5.x. We also have the corresponding module for an older version of Merchant.

Feature Details. You can generate the report by selecting from a list of existing batches. You can also run the report by including a | delimited list of order numbers in the input. This allows you to create/print a batch report of unbatched order(s).
You can also create packing slips with this same module. Exclude certain elements like the shippingand payment details, along with product prices and totals, and you have a convenient printoutwhich can be packed with the items as an inventory list. This is made easy by using the optionto insert a page break after each order.
When used for creating packing slips, you'll probably use the option to include your store addressand logo image on each page.
If you are using our Addendum module you can display one or more of the responses. You canselect which ones will be displayed. You can use Addendum View (report module with Addendum) to generate a list of order IDs which match a certain criteria. For example, you might have a question on checkout to have the customer designate their desired delivery date. You can search the Addendum responses for a specific date and it will create the view list (order IDs) which can be used in the EZ Batch. Another popular use of Addendum is to collect the salesman or representativecode with an order. Not only can you display the code in the batch report, but if you use Addendum View tocreate a list of orders attributed to that salesman, you can make a batch printout for each salesman with only their orders on it.
You can select to create flat files of the customer addresses when you run EZ Batch. It formats them in an order which can be imported into programs like Fedex's online label creator and Endiciainternet postage printer. It can also generate a flat file of customer info which can be imported into Quickbooks. Import a flat file of customer addresses from the batch into My UPS address book. You can either retrieve the files from the server with FTP or have them emailed at the completion of the batch report. Clerks don't need access to your Merchant admin. No copy and paste; a few clicks and the order addresses are imported into the above programs.
You can select to create a flat file of the orders when you run EZ Batch. This export is similar to the standard orders export in Miva Merchant. However, one important omission in the standard export is the "other" charges, which includes things like coupons, fees, etc. The "other" charges is specified in the Miva Merchant API, but was ignored when the code for the standard report was written. You can also include the Addendum responses (if you are using our Addendum module) in the orders export. You can either retrieve the file from the server with FTP or have it emailed at the completion of the batch report.

Easily create a flat file of your category codes and names, then import that file's data directly into your new 4.x store. The module handles main categories and multi-tiered subcategories.
Since it verifies the existance of categories before adding them, it can also be used to add new categories to the store and you won't end up with double entries for the same category.

It verifies the existance of products before linking them, thus preventing double entries for the same product or linking of products which do not exist in your store.
No related products import would be complete without a related product export module. With the included related product export module, you can export from one 4.x store and then import the related products into a different 4.x store using the related products import module.
Miva Merchant QuickBooks Customer Export Module allows you to export a file of all of your customers in a format that can be imported by Quickbooks. You can optionally send the export file as an attatchment to an email address you specify in the admin interface for the module.
