The "Hide Prices Pending Customer Approval" module contains a wealth of functionality and customizable options. It's tremendously useful for wholesalers and other store owners that want to limit access to a known, and approved, customer base.
Product Prices Hidden
Product prices can be hidden until a customer's account has been approved by the store's owner. Optionally, prices can be hidden until a customer creates or logs-in to an account (without requiring approval of the account).
Buttons Too
The product prices û and the "Add To Cart" and the "Buy One Now" buttons û can be hidden on the Product List, Categories, Search Results, and Product Display screens. An optional, fully-customizable message can be displayed in place of the hidden prices.
Two Modules In One
The module is actually two modules û a OpenUI system module and an administrative utility Module. The system module customizes the store's look and feel and limits access to prices. The administrative utility module provides the store owner with the ability of reviewing and approving customer accounts. It's also a fully-functional and user friendly customer management utility.
Quick Approval of Customer Accounts
The administrative utility module also has a "quick approval" feature. A store's administrator can quickly search for a new customer by login, email address, or other keyword û then approve the customer with one click.
Merchant Notification of New Accounts
An optional email notification can be sent to a specified address whenever a new account is created by a customer. The subject and header of the email message are customizable.

Quickly create a tiered discount schedule, offering customers larger discounts as they purchase more. Offer customers promotional coupons which they can redeem as an additional incentive. Discounts and coupons can be a fixed dollar amount or a percentage of the total price of products in the basket, and a minimum purchase can be required. Discounts are recalculated each time the basket contents is displayed. Features and appearance are highly customizable.
Basket Discounts
Basket discounts can be based on either the total price or total quantity of products in the customer's basket. Discount is recalculated each time the basket contents is displayed.
A range of discounts can be offered, each requiring a minimum purchase. Discounts can be a fixed dollar amount or a percentage of the total price of products in the basket, and a minimum purchase can be required.
For instance - A 5% discount could be offered for purchases of $200 to $999.99 and a 10% discount could be offered for $1,000 or more. Or a $25.00 discount could be offered for purchases of 5 to 9 products and a $100 discount could be offered for 10 or more products.
The basket discount schedule can have an unlimited number of tiers.
A table listing the tiered discounts can be dynamically displayed on the storefront screen and at the top or the bottom of the basket contents screen.
The appearance of the discounts table is highly customizable. An optional title, description, and column headers can be customized. The table alignment, width, border, cellspacing, cellpadding can be also be customized. And the background colors of the title, column headers, and content rows can be customized.
Promotional Coupon Redemption
Promotional coupons can be for any fixed dollar amount or a percentage discount from the total price of products in the customer's basket. Customer can redeem the coupons by entering a code anytime on the basket contents screen or on the customer information screen during the checkout process. A minimum purchase (total price or total quantity) can be required for each coupon.
A coupon redemption form can be displayed at the top or the bottom of the basket contents screen. And a coupon redemption field can be displayed within the customer information form.
Once a customer enters a coupon code, the discount will be recalculated each time the basket contents is displayed. This means that customers see their discounts as they are shopping, rather than at checkout.
If a coupon is redeemed without the minimum purchase being met, then a message is displayed informing the customer of the minimum purchase requirement. The discount will be applied when the minimum purchase requirement is met.
Once a coupon has been redeemed, an optional description can be displayed within the basket content.
The appearance of the coupon redemption form is highly customizable. An optional title, description and prompt can be customized. The table alignment, width, border, cellspacing, cellpadding can be also be customized. And the background color of the title can be customized.

All customers, not just those logged in, are able to view the ratings and reviews made by other customers.
In the event that a malicious customer enters prank ratings, the admin interface allows removal of all ratings by specific customers. Since the module has an email alert feature (if turned onby the store owner), you will know what ratings are being left for your products. There is also a report generator to list all ratings on a specific product code or all ratings by a specific customer.
You can also display and/or delete the ratings of a specific product from the individual product edit screen.
Using a render token, place the Rate This button on the product page so that it better fits your desired look. You canlimit the number of reviews which appear on the product page with a "more"link to show all. You can sort the order of the reviews within the product edit screen so that customers see the reviews in the order you want them seen. You can also require admin approval before the rating/review is displayed to customers visiting your store. Admin reports can be displayed to screen, exported to flat file, and optionally email the flat file to the store. The admin rating reports which display the login have a hot link to the customer login so you can quickly view who the rater is.
Configure through admin, the text and tokens in both the display and prompt for this module as they are customizable templates which can replace the default layouts. Great tool and simple to install
The module currently fully supports the mivasql configuration of MIVA Merchant 5. It also supports MySQL as long as load balancing has the data stored on the single MySQL server. This would be the case in most of the server setups. For those that are not, we are in the process of converting the code for that remaining, very small group of MIVA Merchant stores. At this time we have not had a problem. Modules will be moved to the top of the queue as needed.

Viewing Database Records
When viewing a database's records û
Navigate through the database records by clicking on the "first", "prev", "next", or "last" links. Use the "prev" and "next" to navigate from screen to screen (20 records per screen). Go to the end of the database (the most recent record) by clicking on the "last" link. Return to the beginning of the database by clicking on the "first" link.
Select any record and it's full content can be displayed.
Searching Database Records
Search the database by keyword. All fields in the database are searched.
Refreshing Database Records
A convenient"Refresh Database Records" link is also provided for easily refreshing the database records currently listed on the screen. The position in the database and any search string that has been entered will be kept.

Back to TopThe highly configurable Out of Stock Wait List module allows customers to be notified when stock levels are replenished for items that are temporarily out of stock. It can also be used for "coming soon" items so customers can sign up to be notifed when an item is available. This module features advanced admin options such as customizable messages and buttons, "tokens" which give you full display control and allow dynamic content of notification messages, an inventory threshold level that must be met before sending back in stock notifications, a continue shopping button that remembers where the customer came from after adding an item, and more. Wait List buttons appear on all product pages, including category pages, search results, products list pages, and full product display pages, for out of stock items which are not set to be hidden when out of stock.
All items on the wait list can be viewed and selectively processed via the easy to use utility console. The auto-refresh mailing engine can send an unlimited number of notifications at once without timing out. Notifications for all items back in stock can be sent with a single click, or you can selectively decide which notifications to send in the console.
This module is fully compatible with all the features of the inventory system with Merchant 4.x, including support for product-by-product out of stock levels. (Out of stock levels do not necessarily have to be zero in Merchant 4.x.)

It provides your customers a contact form where the customer can request a return and then track the progress of that return. Within the Miva Merchant admin, the storeowner can approve or decline a return. For approved returns an RMA number is generated, the returned products are tracked, and the type of credit issued to the customer can be recorded. All of this tracking information for returns requests is provided to the customer in a Return History screen that can be viewed while logged into the store.
