These OpenUI extension(s) will add an input quantity to the buttons or text on the category screen. This allows your shoppers to add or buy a quantity without having to go to the product screen to enter a number other than quantity of one, add quantity and then checkout. Many steps can be saved by installing this module. Button images are utilized from the settings in the admin feature of your store, under "Images". OUI 2.x and 3.x contain two (2) modules: One only adds quantity to Add buttons in the the category screen. Expanded display only.
The other adds quantity to both the Add / Buy buttons in the category screens. Expanded display only. OUI 4.x contain five (5) modules: One only adds quantity to Add / Buy buttons in the Category Screen.

Feature Details:
In admin, the store owner configures the trigger levels (number of items needed to activate the discount) and thecorresponding fixed amount off. The store owner can designate 1 - 4 trigger levels so that he/she can vary thediscount based on the number bought. Reward the customer; the more the customer buys, the higher the discount.
The storeowner then includes a list of category codes that willbe used in the calculation. Use this module for category-wide or store-wide fixed discounts. If using store-wide, make sure the discount doesn't exceed the priceof the potentially summed products. If using category-wide,make sure the discount does not exceed the price of the lowestpriced product in the category.
The discount amount will appear during checkout on the screen after the customer has entered their shipping method. You can optionally display the discount in the basket prior to checkout.
In admin you can setup eight separate groups withtheir own four-tiered discount and categories. Hence, if you want to discountone category of products with one set of rules (levels) and another category with a different set of rules, you can now do this. Multiple categories can be assigned to each group. As the basket is scanned, the discount is applied based on each group's rules, then summed together at checkout. You can optionally display the updated discounts prior to checkout in the regular basket screen, recalculating and updating discounts based on changing basket contents.
You can choose one price group, e.g. Wholesale, which is not eligible for the discount since they presumably already benefit from significantly lower prices. Or if you don't want to exclude, you can include the one group. This would be useful if you want to apply a fixed amount off for that price group rather than use Merchant's percent off price group calculations. This would allow you to discount different fixed amounts from different groupings (categories) of products.
You can use the asterisk (*) to replace the category codes. When the module encounters the asterisk instead of category codes, it considers all further products eligible. As example, the asterisk in the first group would make all products in the store eligible for the discount. On the other hand, category codes in the first group would apply the first group rules to those categories. Then if there is an asterisk in the second group, all other products in the store woulduse those discount rules.
The module currently fully supports the mivasql configuration of MIVA Merchant 5. It also supports MySQL as long as load balancing has the data stored on the single MySQL server. This would be the case in most of the server setups. For those that are not, we are in the process of converting the code for that remaining, very small group of MIVA Merchant stores. Volume pricing at the category level. Easily offer a discount based on the number of items inthe basket and the categories those items are in. This module is for MIVA Merchant 5.x. We also have the corresponding module for an older version of Merchant.

Feature Details:
Thedefault is to calculate product charges in the specifiedcategory(ies) (including attribute charges) to determinethe subtotal to discount. You canoptionally include non-product charges in the calculation.
In admin, the store owner configures the triggerlevels (number of items needed to activate the discount) and thecorresponding percentage off. The store owner candesignate 1 - 4 trigger levels so that he/she can vary thepercentage discount based on the number bought. Reward thecustomer; the more the customer buys, the higher thediscount percentage.
The storeowner then includes a list of category codes that willbe used in the calculation. Use this module forcategory-wide or store-wide discounts.
The discount amount willappear during checkout on the screen after the customer hasentered their shipping method. This allows Merchant toinclude (optionally) any miscellaneous fees or coupons redeemedon the Shipping - Payment selection screen so the subtotal willbe adjusted before the discount.
In admin you can setup eight separate groups withtheir own four-tiered discount and categories. Hence, if you want to discountone category of products with one set of rules (levels) and another categorywith a different set of rules, you can do this. Multiple categories can beassigned to each group. As the basket is scanned, the quantities are subtotaledfor each group. The discount is applied based on each group's rules, then summedtogether at checkout. You can optionally display the updated discounts prior to checkout in the regular basket screen, recalculatingand updating discounts based on changing basket contents.
In admin, you can chooseone price group, e.g. Wholesale, which is not eligible for the discount since theypresumably already benefit from significantly lower prices.
You can use the asterisk(*) to replace the category codes. When the module encounters the asterisk instead ofcategory codes, it considers all further products eligible. As example, the asterisk inthe first group would make all products in the store eligible for the discount. On the other hand,category codes in the first group would apply the first group rules to those categories.Then if there is an asterisk in the second group, all other products in the store woulduse those discount rules.The module currently fully supports the mivasql configuration of MIVA Merchant 5. It also supports MySQL as long as load balancing has the data stored on the single MySQL server. This would be the case in most of the server setups. For those that are not, we are in the process of converting the code for that remaining, very small group of MIVA Merchant stores. At this time we have not had a problem. Full control of the look of your category pages! The module lets you configure the category page html to your liking. It provides an interface for you to enter the specific HTML that you want to use to display the product listing for the category. You create templates which you can then assign to selected categories. The module comes with 4 preinstalled templates but you can add as many as you want. One of the preinstalled template provides for a category display that lets you add all of the listed products to your basket with the click of a single button. Another provides for the display of multiple products in rows across the page instead of vertically. In your templates, you can use tokens to represent the normal Merchant product and category fields. For example, you can use the token %prodname% to represent where you want the product's name to be displayed. Making changes like removing the "buy one now" button is as simple as tweaking the HTML used to display the page. One of the preinstalled templates is identical to the standard Merchant category display and serves as a good starting point for those little tweaks you have always been wanting to make. The module also permits you to copy existing templates when you are creating a new template. You can use strike-thru pricing with this module too! Note about compatibility with other modules: This module totally replaces the portion of the OpenUI (or MMUI if you are using it) that displays the Category page and is not compatible with any other module which modifies the category page unless the developer of that module has specifically made their module compatible. This module provides for an easy-to-use manner for developers to provide tokens that can be used to insert their module's HTML into the pages. And these tokens can be registered in the module's admin interface. Export your Miva Merchant product data in the basic file format required for FroogleTM (© 2002 Google) data feed submissions for inclusion in their ecommerce search engine. Fields included: product_url, name, description (html removed), price, image_url, category, offer_id (code). This Miva Merchant plugin module works with both MMUI and OpenUI. No mmui.mv edits required. Most agree, Google is the mother of all search engines on the Internet. Their new venture to create a listing of actual items for sale across the Internet, rather than pages with hits on keywords, is a bold attempt to better target customers and buyers in a symbiotic relationship. This is a giant leap in eCommerce, providing comparison shopping using the Google search engine. If you are a Miva Merchant store owner you CANNOT afford to miss this opportunity, especially since inclusion in the FroogleTM index is free. How much have you invested in getting your store's search engine rankings? A big side benefit to getting listed in FroogleTM is that the Google company is spidering your site, thus it may increase the number of your pages listed in Google. Coincidentally, my site went from 1220 to 1350 pages in Google within a week after submitting the first data feed to FroogleTM. Granted, I use Static Catalog Generator to create static html pages of all of my products so there were already a lot of pages in Google. Now I have an additional 130 which had been overlooked. If you don't have a good representation of your product catalog already in Google or other search indexes, you may want to use the Static Catalog Generator to optimize site visibility. Search engine optimization requires a multi-pronged approach (static html pages, shorter links, specific paid or unpaid submissions to directories). I have found that use of static html pages consistently gets my site into search indexes better than the dynamically produced Miva Merchant pages. There is no direct indication that listing in Froogle will effect your listing in Google, only time will tell. A module designed for the specific purpose of creating a data feed for FroogleTM (rather than a generic data export) can include features which make it the best solution for the task: - Include an affiliate code in the URLs so that you can better track where actual sales are coming from
- If your store is a single store in the domain, you can remove the Store_Code from the URL to aid in search engine spidering
- If you are using our Volume Pricing module (version 4.53 or newer), you have the option to submit the lowest (bulk) prices as your product prices, thus making your listings more attractive when compared with competitors in the FroogleTM listing. However, the Google Feeds Support said the quantity option is not yet supported so it would be "best if you just give the price for ordering a single item". Eventually they plan to list the minimum break points to obtain the volume prices.

Your store may or may not be accepted and I would expect it to take longer and have more stipulations for acceptance and continued inclusion as this service becomes more popular. You should request acceptance into FroogleTM as soon as possible. Once accepted, whether you use our module for building the datafeed or some other software, you should do it now while time is on your side. As this is a new endeavor for FroogleTM, I expect them to change their format and add new capabilities over time. Licensees of the 4.x version of this module will have free upgrades of the module through the 4.x version. We do not yet have a 2.x version available but will be exploring that option next week. This display module allows you to configure your store's category screens with the use of thumbnail images for your products. With Thumb Wizard, you can: - Select the Number of Thumbnail Images to display in each row.
- Set Global Pagination for all Categories.
- Select Product Fields to be displayed with option to display to the right or below the image.
- Select Add, Buy and More Info Buttons.
- Configure the Total Table/Cell control of Main Body.
The auto image feature eliminates the need to add a path to the thumbnail when setting up the product. You can also opt to: - Display a default image if no image is available for a product (eliminates "image not found" boxes).
- Display an Alternate Short Description Two different ways.
- Display MSRP, Savings and Price 3 ways:
- Use the Cost field to set MSRP and display savings as difference or Percentage.
- Use a Percent markup over Price to extablish MSRPand display savings as difference or Percentage.
- Use Price Groups to set discount and display normal price as MSRP and savings the difference between Price and Adjusted Price.
- Select whether "Savings" is displayed as actual amount or percentage.
- Create your own labels for "MSRP", "Savings" and "Your Price".
- Control the Font size, color and bold control.
- Select screens to display the above information.
- Have independent and simultaneous control over products with a Price of Zero
- Create your own message to replace "Price". Add email Link to your message. Email link includes Product Code and Name in Subj Line.
- Select screens to display the above information.
- Remove "Add" and "Buy" buttons on products with Zero Price.
Thumb Wizard is compatible with all Wizard series modules, as well as William Weiland's Inventory Management module. NOTE: This module will not work with most other third party modules that display changes to the Category Screen. The Thumb Wizard Pro is a Category Screen display control module designed to use unique displays for different categories. This module will allow you to create up to six different Expanded Layouts controlling the number of Columns, Text Position and Pagination for specified categories. You may also create one Line Layout. User Friendly for any skill level, use Checkboxes, Tokens or both to create your display. Fully compatible with any third party modules designed to use Open UI Tokens.
Current users of the Thumb Wizard will find a vast amount of additons and improvements. Features: - Options to customize category screen layout, including forcing all categories to a specific display. You can change the positions of text, set number of columns, set pagination and tighten up displays. You can even set specific categories to display different ways pased on the category code prefix.
- Supports OpenUI Token Usage - five token entry boxes are available for both above and below product thumbnail images, allowing you to enter an unlimited amount of additional content.
- You choose the fields! You select which fields display on the category screen. You can choose to include or NOT include image, name, price, etc.
- Set table cell parameters - you can set specific widths of each table's cell, and set alignment of images and text.
- Add functional elements like a quantity box or force the customer to basket screen after adding a broduct. You can even include a short description of each product, based on XX amount of characters from the product's full description.
